Pimsoft extends the SigmafineHub functionnality by releasing SigmafineStudio, an advanced analytics framework enabling automatation of data reconciliation and data validation activities as well as production of reports and views facilitating the analysis of reconciled data.
2020
Pimsoft releases SigmafineHub which marks the beginning of the journey for the transformation of Sigmafine into a web-based solution while preserving the investment of customers in the models & applications built on Sigmafine 4.x.
The first release of SigmafineHub introduces SigmafineVisualizer which replaces the PI ProcessBook add-in as the main UI to visuzalize models and reconciled data in Sigmafine.
2018
Pimsoft acquires the Assets of Omicron Development LLC, an established system integrator for the OSIsoft PI System in the USA and establishes its presence in the Americas region as an OSIsoft system integrator and solution provider.
Pimsoft launches its annual Sigmafine Summit event where users, partners and prospective customers can meet annually to share ideas and applications about the use of Sigmafine and where PImsoft communicates its product roadmap.
2015
Pimsoft and Sigmafine celebrate 20+ years in business and helping the industry drive more value by ensuring the accuracy, credibility and usability of process data. Pimsoft is now a team of 60+ professionals.
2012
Pimsoft achieves its first release of Sigmafine – version 4.4.3.1793 along witht he release of its Sigmafine Add-on, SQL Access, to streamline report building and direct access to case data.
Under the ownership of Pimsoft, Sigmafine is evolving from a server-based layered application to an enterprise-class system for managing data quality in both the process and manufacturing industries. Focusing on integration and usability of information, the development of Sigmafine applications and extensions ensures connectivity of manufacturing data to users, systems and business processes.
2010
Pimsoft acquires Sigmafine from OSIsoft and opens an office in Houston, Texas(USA) to support the growing Sigmafine business in the Americas region.
2005
Pimsoft’s expertise in O&G Refinery Data Reconciliation receives worldwide recognition at the OSIsoft annual user’s conference. This project features Sigmafine version 4 based on PI-AF as a model repository.

Pimsoft SRL is founded to develop its PIMS (Plant Information Management System) and Sigmafine practices and become a leading integrator of the technology in the OSIsoft partner ecosystem.

Synapsis founded to deliver software solutions to the process industries. Company is the first distributor of the OSIsoft PI System in Italy.
